Our Christmas celebration began attending worship service at my home church New Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church. It was great to worship with my former church family and hear an awesome word from our beloved Pastor Banks. Although we have been away from Pilgrim Rest over 25 years Rev. Banks still beams with joy and excitement when looks out into the congregation and sees the Harris and Pearson families. I must brag, not only is Pastor Banks an awesome preacher, he

sang.
After church we stopped by to see what Santa left for the great nieces and nephew. They were outside in the rain riding their new bikes. They came over later to see what Santa had left at Mama Lettie's house for them. Like all little kids on Christmas Day, its all about the gifts, after they opened all their gifts they packed them up and was ready to go home. They were not staying around to let us play with the new toys and games. They even passed up dessert :)
