Spring Break

We had a great time vacationing on the east coast with the Pearsons and Mom. We loaded up the SUV and headed south to Colonial Williamsburg,Virginia. The next day we cruised through Hampton University and later spend the afternoon in Virginia Beach. We were able to get tickets from our Senator to tour the White House and the U.S. Capitol. We had to be in line for the White House tour at 7A.M. We spent more time going through security check points than the actual tour(about 15 minutes). Oh, Well, at least we can say we toured the White House during Obama's Presidential Term.
So glad I brought a new pair of sneaker before the trip, because I sure needed them with all the walking. Amelia keep us all in shape wtih her step counter. That girl was determined to get her 10,000 steps in each day and we were a step behind her. NOT REALLY! more like 10 steps at times. In education we know about "No Child Left Behind", my sister makes me want to petition for a new act, "NO FAMILY LEFT BEHIND". You'll notice I have photos of the family's backside and checkout who's most often miles ahead of the family :) We had the greatest time laughing and teasing one another.

Mom being semi-handicap due to recent elbow surgery kept up with us. She was the Keeper of Meal Time. My mom is like the Ever Ready Bunny she can go on forever until her phone rings. When she's hungry she'll say."Your Mama is getting hungry now, I needs me a piece of meat". Mom has jokes too. I am so thankful that Mom is in good health, full of energy, and loves to travel. We're so blessed to go on vacation now and Mom doesn't pay for anything. Prayfully Harrington and Eboni will do the same for their parents someday.

Family can make you wanna holler, cry, scream, and crack your side laughing at each other. It's a good thing when one can share and express those emotions with the ones they love and cherish dearly.

Family......Yesterday, Today, and Forever, SHALL Be
