Pages from a digital scrapbook that I completed today for a dear friend.   The letters from her parents were very heartfelt and moving. They were the special touch this memory book needed.  I hope she  loves it as much as I enjoyed creating it and reflecting on how she has  grown into a very beautiful young lady with  a loving spirit and a beautiful smile.

Goree Family Reunion 2012

We had a blast with our family last weekend in Northern California. Our family reunion was held in the Fairfield/Vacaville area. It was great to see familiar faces and to meet new  family members. The  picnic on Saturday was the BOMB! We all had a great time laughing and playing together.  It was great to see everyone enjoying and  participating in events other than eating (LOL!)  There was fun to be had for all whether it was talking trash at the domino table to getting knocked out of a chair in musical chairs.
The highlight for me was meeting my grandfather's 98 year old sister.

What a beautiful tribute to our beloved  brother in-law. I am always in awe of the Power of Photography, it captures memories and gives us a visual reminder of how truly blessed we are. It also reminds us to Love and Cherish our love ones God has given us,  for one day he'll want them back.

Amelia and Clyde beaming with great joy, the high school days are over!  I must say niecey wears orange very well. Eboni will be off to Grambling State University in the Fall. Congratulations Eboni we are all so proud of you.

Congratulations Eboni! It seems as if it was only yesterday that we attended your kindergarten graduation. Now you are off to college in a couple of months. Glad we were there to help celebrate this significant milestone in your life.

Favors for  Love Images Annual Scholarship luncheon. Once again Henry came to the rescue. Three days before deadline date I go sick and was in need of some serious help to complete 100 favors.. Thank you Henry!

Happy Easter

Our day started with us attending the 7:30 service and then Sunday School. We didn't prepare a large dinner, kept it simple with a ham, squash, asparagus, garlic mashed potatoes, and lemon cream cheese pie for dessert. I wanted to dye eggs but Henry and Harrington  didn't want to play with food coloring and makers, so instead I made chocolate covered treats and Cake Pops for Sunday School students.
