National Habor-Spring Break 2015

During our recent visit to the D.C. area we got a chance to spend time with friend and former Phoenix resident Gloria.  She been gone from the valley over three years now and has been back to the valley to visit often but it was good to spend time with her in her neck of the woods :)
Gloria picked us up for an  afternoon of sightseeing at  National Harbor. The harbor is located just south of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge along the Capital Beltway in Prince George’s County, Maryland, and is just  minutes from downtown Washington, D.C.  We enjoyed strolling along the harbor sightseeing and of course the guys favorite was lunch at Cadillac Ranch restaurant.

Spring Break 2015

Location: Washington D.C. and  Maryland Metro area

Easter was only days away during our visit but the weather was anything but Spring like. It was cold and windy the  majority of the visit.

For sometime now our, Spring Break vacation destination was to a NBA city. We do the tourist thing and then its off we go to the arena for some fantastic NBA action.  This year it was even more enjoyable because Amelia, Clyde, Mom, & Brendan attended too. The event was even some special and memorable in that it was Mom's first NBA game. For someone who's always running like the "Ever Ready Bunny", she actual sat still..I think she enjoyed herself.

Brendan is Harrington's best bud. They have been buds since daycare(about age four). He's attending American University in D.C. We're happy he was able to take time from his studies to join us for the evening.
