B.J.'s ER Visit

We had to take B.J. to the ER on Saturday afternoon. The little doggy was so sick. He wouldn't eat, lick, chew, bark nor did his little ears perk-up when the word "walk" was mentioned ..all are tale tell signs that Mr. B's not feeling well. He began to mope Friday evening, we just thought he was exhausted from the heat. He cried so Friday night that Henry got up twice to see about him. Saturday morning we didn't get our normal "I gotta go potty bark". Harrington noticed he had vomit when he checked on him Saturday morning. He just laid  out of the floor all morning and slept. He still wouldn't eat or drink. After two more throw-ups and one on me it was time to seek medical attention.
The little guy was so dehydrated the Doc had  to inject fluids into him. They didn't know exactly what was wrong with him without taking x-rays.$$$$.  Knowing  BJ he probably ate something  he shouldn't have and it upset his stomach. After some medication, a good night's sleep, and some  tender loving care, BJ was back to running, jumping, licking, barking, and EATING Sunday afternoon.

Cheerleaders for Christ

Two weeks ago I spent a couple of hours with a great group of girls. I was asked to create a craft for the cheerleaders at church. The director had seen cheerleader flip flops online and thought they would be cute and fun for the cheerleaders to make. This really was a simple and easy project for the girls. The simple part was  made possible because my dear hubby help me cut 6 yards of fabric into 1x3 inch strips. Henry even helped me shop for the flip flops. We were able to find the shoes 75% off at Joann's . Henry was  right there helping me dig in the bins to find the needed sizes. Henry and Harrington even helped me organized and package the project for each of the girls. By the end of the evening that were tired of sorting and counting  fabric strips, folding plastic baggies, and folllowing my numerous instructions :)  I made it through another request because my two very special men always come to aid a Sista, even if she's a little meticulous . Its all good .
