Family Fun
We had a great time bowling this past Saturday afternoon. This was Henry's first time so he says, couldn't have been for someone who had several strikes. I admit we all had more gutter balls than spares and strikes, but as Henry says,"It's all about the fun we had, not the score".

Homework Assistant
Just had to post this photo of Harrington and BJ. Last Thursday evening we were up late helping Harrington with a class project. It was a family affair which included the dog assisting with a school project: :)
He wanted to turn-in the project Friday to take advantage of the extra credit points. I helped Harrington mat and cut the pictures neatly. His paper cutting skills were unacceptable and in need of some assistance. Henry assisted with the lettering. You would think Harrington had to install a floor with the great care to details Henry was displaying. BJ jumped up in Harrington lap as if he had something significant to contribute.

Do You Still Dream?
"The Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday celebrates the life and legacy of a man who brought hope and healing to America. It is also a time for us reflect and evaluate our own dreams.
Do we still dream of better life for our children and their children..Do we still believe that here and now a Change must come in all relationships... Do we still believe, enlight of the recent tragedies, economic and social downfalls that We Shall Overcome.
I still Dream of a better tomrrow and Believe change will come for all!
Power at its best is love implementing the demands of justice. Justice at its best is love correcting everything that stands against love. Martin Luther King, Jr., Where Do We Go from Here: Chaos or Community?, 1967 |

Happy 15th Birthday!
Today is Harrington's 15th Birthday. Long gone are the days of Chucky Cheese and McDonald's Birthday parties, all he wanted was CASH$$$$.. He did ask that I make his favorite dessert(Cream Cheese Pie with strawberries).
Take a look back at last January's post and checkout how much he was grown.
Happy Birthday My Love and Many, Many, More!

Happy New Year
A New Year is here! Let's leave the last year behind and look forward to the many Opportunities, Blessings, and Joy that await us. Victory shall truly be ours in 2011, for we will forget about our past failures and focus on God's Promises. I know there'll be times of sorrow and pain this year, but there's joy in knowing that inspite of all that can and will occur, VICTORY shall still be ours. God said it, I believe it and that's enough to substain me.
May the new year also bring you Lots of Laughter. Laughter the one thing we something fail to do. My goal this year is to laugh daily, even it means laughing at myself. It truly is an awesome stress reliver and can keep me from doing and saying something I'll later regret.
I anxiously look forward to another year of Parenting, Loving Unconditionally, and Experiencing God's Grace and Mercy beyond my wildest expectations.
Love,
P.S. Stop by often through out the year for a laugh or two.
