Unexpected Vet Visit

Checkout my new do. I had to visit the Vet tonight because my groomer told my peeps she noticed worms in my stool. You know this after-hours visit won't be cheap. Yes, indeedy it wasn't. I can't believe it cost my peeps $79 for the Doc to stick a thermometer in my bottom and nuk my poop. This is Puppy Robbery if ever I've seen it! This JUST AIN'T RIGHT! Oh, the Doc did give my peeps some medication. The Doc said it was possibly associated with my visit down south last month.

Happy 25th Anniversary!

One by one each year has flown by,
Since we each said “I do"
25 years of memories,
Shared by the each of us.
From big events and holidays
To simple daily pleasures,
Some tearful times along life’s way,
Some joys that can’t be measured
One by one each year now gone,
But still they’re ours forever
Each and every memory,
Of a quarter Century together, Loving Unconditionally

Home Improvement Project

Our recent Home Improvment Project-French Patio Doors. This project wasn't on the top of our list, but it quickly became after one of the sliding glass doors unknownly shattered into millions of pieces of glass. Ironically Henry mowed the back lawn the same day the glass shattered. Hmh! Is it possible a rock was propelled from the lawn mower??

Where's Harrington?

B.J. grew restless waiting for Harrington to return home from football practice this evening. It's amazing how this little doggy knows what time we all should be home. He'll position himself so he can see us if we come in the front door or through the garage. He looked out the window, scoped out every room in the house, raced around the back yard all for about 30 minutes and finally laid out in the floor. Waited and Waited and fell asleep....

My beautiful niece celebrated her 16th birthday in style in New Yok City this weekend. NYC was the perfect location for this " Little Miss Diva" (if only in her mind). I love her all the same.

This special time comes only once
Turning Sweet Sixteen
Loving memories of yesterday
A young lady now can be seen.
But in the eyes of her biggest fans
She's still a little girl
And time can't erase those wonder years
But the years have now made a pearl.

Precious Memories

I recently reconnected with Daria Peoples Riley on Facebook. I meet Daria about 25 years ago when we lived in Flagstaff. Her grandmother Lennie is a very dear friend of ours. I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to watch Daria grow and mature into a beautiful young lady, who today is the mother of two. I saw this photo of Daria's son(left) and his best friend on her Facebook page and simply couldn't resist capturing the image in digital scrapbooking.

Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.(Psalms 127:3-5 ESV)
